Good grief.


Within the last ten weeks I've celebrated the birth of my nephew, married the love of my life in the best wedding ever, honeymooned, celebrated my birthday, and celebrated the birth of my niece... Then suddenly, we were grieving the loss of my newborn niece suddenly at one month old, and again mourning for my grandmother who passed away two weeks …

It’s important to agree it’s wrong when our black brothers and sisters die.


German blood runs through my veins.  And I just don't understand how violence and looting is supposed to solve anything.  I'm an upstanding citizen and my family is deeply respected.  Why do I need to focus my energy on something happening to black people in neglected communities?  It's not my business and not my fight.  Enough people …
